Champions League Final, Liverpool Manager Slams UEFA

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has sacked UEFA and trans-agent agents on rising prices for accommodation and the journey of supporters who will watch the Champions League final in Madrid. According to the German tactician, it was very difficult for supporters from England, especially Liverpool supporters.

Airplane ticket prices and accommodation in Madrid increased rapidly ahead of the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. The match will be played at Atletico Madrid's stadium, Wanda Metropolitano.

Klopp cast criticism on UEFA who could not anticipate this. In addition, it also deplored the attitude of travel agents who took advantage of the moment to reap profits.

"I don't know what travel agents eat at breakfast," Klopp said sarcastically.

"Last year, we went to Kiev. We don't know how to get there. There are no direct flights from the UK to the city. "

"UEFA must consider decisions logically. Not just pointing the city to the final place. "

"Based on experience, a hotel room that is usually only 100 pounds per night can go up to 2,700 pounds per night."

"I sympathize with fans who feel that," Klopp said.

Liverpool will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final on June 1. In the 2018-19 season, for the first time all finalists of European club competitions came from England.

Apart from Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea also protested to UEFA. This is related to the allocation of audience tickets whose numbers do not match the stadium capacity.

Each of Arsenal and Chelsea will only get 6,000 tickets in the Europa League final. This amount is not commensurate with the capacity of the Baku Olympic stadium which reached 68,700 seats.

However, UEFA has given an answer that they will not change the amount. According to, UEFA accommodation in the city of Baku, starting from the city to lodging can only accommodate as many as 15,000 tourists.
